Quantum forces in cavities

چکیده
We present an alternative route to investigate quantum forces in a cavity, for both free scalar field and fermionic field. Considering generalized Matsubara procedure, we compute the pressure on boundaries of compactified space thermal bath. Also, considering periodic antiperiodic boundary conditions discuss attractive or repulsive character forces. Our results highlight relevance interdisciplinarity procedure as theoretical platform manage phenomena nontrivial topologies.

Quantum transport through ballistic cavities: soft vs hard quantum chaos
We study transport through a two-dimensional billiard attached to two infinite leads by numerically calculating the Landauer conductance and the Wigner time delay. In the generic case of a mixed phase space we find a power-law distribution of resonance widths and a power-law dependence of conductance increments apparently reflecting the classical dwell time exponent, in striking difference to t...
متن کاملMusical Forces and Quantum Probabilities
In cognitive music theory, musical forces arise in connection with tonal attraction. How well does a given pitch fit into a tonal scale or tonal key, let it be a major or minor key? A similar question can be asked regarding musical sequences and tonal progression: What the level of resolution is felt when hearing a probe tone following a certain chord in a two-step serial sequence? After giving...
متن کاملLong range forces in quantum gravity.
We calculate the leading quantum and semi-classical corrections to the Newtonian potential energy of two widely separated static masses. In this largedistance, static limit, the quantum behaviour of the sources does not contribute to the quantum corrections of the potential. These arise exclusively from the propagation of massless degrees of freedom. Our one-loop result is based on Modanese’s f...
متن کاملQuantum Clusters in Cavities: Trapped Au15 in Cyclodextrins
Wehave preparedAu15 quantum clusters anchored toR-, β-, and γ-cyclodextrin (CD) cavities. The synthesis process involves the core etching of larger clusters and the simultaneous trapping of the clusters formed inside the CD cavities. The clusters were characterized by various tools, such as optical absorption and luminescence spectroscopies, electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), X...
